1. Greg Jennings
2012 was a “Red Shirt” season for Greg Jennings. Every time he got on the field something would happen to take him back off the field. He couldn’t stay healthy...you would’ve thought he was on the cover of Madden. I see all that changing this season. Jennings has the motivation to propel him back to his old form. Jennings will make the Packers regret not re-signing him. Sure, Jennings won’t have Aaron Rogers throwing him the ball, but he doesn’t have to compete with Cobb, Nelson, Jones or Finley for touches either. What the Vikings lack in a QB they more than make up with a running game called “Adrian Peterson”. Opposing safeties will have to play at the line of scrimmage and defenses will not be able to play 2- deep coverages. This will open up the field for Jennings and he will be a steal in your fantasy draft.
Projection : 1,200 yards, 11 TDs.
2. LeSean Mccoy
If you want to talk about comeback players for the 2013 Fantasy Football Season, look no further then LeSean Mccoy. Last year at this time, owners were drafting Mccoy in the top 3 of fantasy drafts everywhere. Now, fantasy players can get Mccoy late in the 1st round and in some drafts, he might be available in the early 2nd. People, put down Candy Crush and listen up! Mccoy might end up being the NUMBER ONE fantasy player at the end of this season. Head Coach Chip Kelly loves running the ball and if he has a RB with Mccoy’s talent, it can only mean great things in the near future for Mccoy. Many owners are afraid of what Bryce Brown’s impact will be on Mccoy’s fantasy production, but I’m not one of them and you shouldn’t be either. Brown is no better than a solid NFL backup who had 76 rushing yards in his last 4 games of the season. Mccoy’s still the man in Philly.
Projection: 1,400 rushing yards, 400 receiving yards, 14 TDs
3. Jermichael Finley
People have been talking about Finley’s talent for the past few seasons and believing that this is the year he returns to top form. Each year Finley keeps disappointing his fantasy owners and plays like he has a better chance of catching a cold than a football. I’m going out on a limb to state THIS IS THE YEAR Finley steps it up and delivers the fantasy success that we have been waiting for. 2013 is a contract year for Finley and he is in the best shape of his life going into camp. With the exit of Greg Jennings, there will be extra targets going to someone, and I believe that someone is Finley. Look for Finley to finally live up to his pro bowl talent and help your Fantasy team get into the playoffs.
Projection: 945 yards, 8 TDs
